Mission
The Columbus Public Schools Foundation enriches the educational experience of our students by funding innovation in teaching and learning that requires financial support beyond what the district can provide.
The Foundation's mission is to inspire learning, enrich teaching and create opportunities for students and staff through community support. The Foundation helps to provide for the immediate needs as well as long term enhancements within our district. Since 1998 the CPS Foundation has awarded over $3.5 million in grants, awards, and scholarships.
History
The CPS Foundation was established in 1985 as a nonprofit organization to maintain and enhance the quality of Education within the Columbus Public Schools and is dependent on tax-deductible donations from alumni and the community. We celebrate 39 years of inspiring learning in the Columbus Public Schools.
