Event Calendar

Anchor Hoops is a youth basketball program run by the Columbus Boys Basketball program.

Cost $125 and includes:
Uniform (only if you need a new one this year)
Warm Up Shirt
Team entry fees for leagues and tournaments
Team practice time

October 30th - Practice will start with a 2 night clinic
Practices will be usually on Monday and Thursday evenings but may have a practice on Tuesdays or an occasional practice on Sunday evenings. Depending on the gym availability. Coaches will get the following week's practice out to you as soon as they know the gym situation.

3rd-6th 6:15-7:45pm (6th may have to practice in the 7:45-9:15 time slot at times)
7th-8th 7:45-9:15pm

November 11 - November 18 - December 2
B teams will play in the YMCA league in Columbus and your games will be Saturday Mornings, early afternoon.

November 11 - November 18 - December 2
A team in each age group may participate in Lincoln Supreme League

December 8-10
All teams will play in the Columbus Basketball tournament held in Columbus

February 2-4
All teams will play in the Columbus Basketball tournament held in Columbus

There may be other tournaments that the coaches will take teams just depending on availability of kids and coaches throughout the year.

3rd - 6th grades
will play in the YMCA league and both Columbus tournaments (Top team may play in Lincoln)
Coaches and player availability will determine 1-3 more tournaments throughout the year.

7th-8th grades
will play in the YMCA league and both Columbus tournaments (Top team may play in Lincoln) but practice will be done on December 18th so they can prepare for the Middle school season.
